The Matsuo Laboratory was established with the shared vision of the Matsuo-Iwasawa Laboratory at the University of Tokyo Graduate School of Engineering, with the aim of realizing an ecosystem of industry-academia co-creation between universities, companies, and startups. Matsuo connects technologies developed in academia to industry and returning the knowledge gained through social implementation to academia and are engaged in applied research and social implementation in the field of deep learning, nurturing AI and DX talent in industry, and nurturing startups that will contribute to the promotion of corporate DX.
