The Global AI Impact Commons is a first-of-its-kind global effort to shift the focus of AI from capability to consequence. By capturing evidence, context, and outcomes from real-world deployments across the world, it enables informed adoption of AI that delivers measurable economic and social value. Rooted in India's longstanding commitment to AI for All, the Commons is a key outcome of the AI for Economic Growth and Social Good Working Group under the India AI Impact Summit. It reflects India's effort to ground AI in impact, particularly across the Global South. By bringing together lessons from diverse contexts, the Commons weaves isolated experiences into a shared understanding, helping AI move from silos to scale
